CN6 Numerical Control
The Numerical Control basic software controls all functionalities of the machining center through an interface based on windows that includes:
The user graphic interface (HMI, Human Machine Interface) displays all variables of the centre, both about programming and user configuration.
ISO language editor: for numeric-control machines the international programming language ISO is used. With this language you can create programs to perform every kind of machining, with linear or interpolated paths, variable speeds, tapping, parameter use etc. and for managing all functionalities of the machining center.
Project file: simple, intuitive and extraordinary useful function of CN6 which can be used as interface between any management program/software and the machine. In a company it ensures a communication (i.e. a unique language) between the management function and the machine operators. Through this new function it is possible to call-up ISO or SLW programs modifying machining parameters through full customizable variables. It is also possible to run whole production lists in different ways: manually, through Scheduler or by means of bar codes.
3D machining process: not only can you view a 3D representation of clamps and stops but you can also import - through the special 3D window of the program - the .dxf file of the profile to be machined thus displaying a 3D image of the workpiece completed with the configured machining processes.
Clamp positioning: automatic counting managed directly by the program; it can be run in different ways (static or dynamic) depending on the features of the desired machining cycle. Moreover on the machine equipped with clamps that move automatically, the movement is directly controlled by CN while in all other cases the “virtual led bars” function can be used.
The Scheduler function runs in several modes oriented both to a mass production and to a more flexible production in small quantity. This function provides the counting option of clamp positioning, also on ISO programs, optimization of the machining cycles, 3D view of each element entered in the Scheduler and possibility of graphical view of the selected program.
Log data: possibility of recording such events as manufacturing cycles, alarms, messages, etc.
Plug-in for machining lines: the program has been implemented with new functions that can be used only on machining lines after importing in the CN6 a cutting list from the TK Cut List Optimizer. Among other functions, you can associate some files (dxf, jpeg, bmp, etc..) with the codes of the imported profiles. To do this simply click on these codes to view the associated files in which, for example, the profile section is shown. Moreover you can prioritize the machining of a single bar or of a group of bars or you can simply and quickly view which bars are beingh machined, which have been uploaded (if a loading table is available) and which are going to be loaded in a second time. Another function enables you to pause the running of the program at the end of the work shift, after recording each edited bar, and to recover the program running from the following bar when the next work shift starts.
Integrated Formulas Software: you can use it to define formulas based on the default variables (for example, the profile length) and then use them as macro parameters or within the “If” function. This function is very useful when you have to perform same machining processes on profiles of various lengths. For example, the position in X of a hole can be set as L/2-50, where L must be correctly assigned (by inserting it manually, via a bar code reader o with a kind of automatism).
